State Minister for Urban Development, Coast Conservation, Waste Disposal and Public Sanitation Dr. Nalaka Godahewa handing over the house keys to on a housing recipient.

He was speaking at a ceremony at Borella to hand over keys to houses to recipients of Oval View Residencies.

He said the Government’s main aim is to provide housing for public servants.

State Minister Godahewa further said the Oval View Residencies condominium scheme at Palangasthuduwa in Borella was initiated by then Secretary Defence and Urban Development and current President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The project should have been completed three years ago but was delayed due to the inefficiency of the previous regime.
